'Class is permanent' - Man United fans love what they saw in training video ahead of West Ham

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may not have universal approval as the manager of Manchester United, but his status as a club legend is still intact if social media is anything to go by.

The Norwegian, who scored 126 goals in 366 appearances for United, took over as caretaker manager at Old Trafford last season after Jose Mourinho was sacked.

Solskjaer was then handed the reins on a permanent basis after impressing in his first 10 games.

Ahead of United's Europa League clash against Astana and the Premier League visit to West Ham, Sky Sports posted a video of Solskjaer in training rolling the ball, before chipping it into a bin about 20 yards away - with the caption: 'Could Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still do a job up front for Manchester United?'

And Manchester United fans were quick to respond, joking that the former striker could indeed still do a job for the first team.

United trained on Wednesday with the European encounter very much the focus and there was no sign Daniel James, Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial or Luke Shaw, as reported by the Manchester Evening News.

Although, it could be that they are being rested as Pogba and Shaw were spotted doing individual training away from the main group as they look to build their fitness.
