Class A drugs worth almost £20k seized from residential property

Drugs worth almost £20,000 have been seized from an address in Neath.

South Wales Police officers executed a warrant on Friday, May 1, at an address in the Melyn area, where they recovered Class A drugs said to be worth an estimated £19,600.

A quantity of cash and other items were also discovered.

A 55-year-old man was arrested and has been released under investigation.

A spokesman for the force said: “Anyone with information on drugs in our communities can contact 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111”.
