Thousands of pounds worth of Class A drugs have been seized after police raided a flat in Wythenshawe.
Plain clothes officers executed a warrant at the property on Greenwood Road at round midday on Monday.
They had intended on forcing their way in, but as they reached the front door it was opened from inside, and an unsuspecting and very surprised man came face to face with police.
A search was carried out, and thousands of pounds worth of suspected cocaine and heroin was discovered.
Two men - aged in their 30s and 40s - were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.

They remain in custody for questioning.
PC Andy Moore said the raid was part Operation Challenger which aims to tackle organised crime.
"It's a positive result," he said. "These drugs would have hit the Wythenshawe streets and caused misery."
PC Moore's team shared a photo on the GMP Wythenshawe Twitter account showing bags of what is believed to be cocaine and heroin.
The post read: "Warrant executed in Wythenshawe by #ChallengerMCR today.
"Several thousand £s in Class A drugs recovered and 2 men in the cells. We're working hard to tackle serious crime in your neighbourhood."
