Clarkson’s Farm Star Harriet Cowan makes red carpet debut after teasing big career move

Clarkson’s Farm breakout star Harriet Cowan stepped into the spotlight this week as she made her red carpet debut at a celebrity event in London.

The 24-year-old nurse-turned-farmhand became a fan favourite after stepping in for Kaleb Cooper on season four of the hit Prime series.

Her growing popularity has seen her social media following soar and she is now approaching half a million followers on Instagram.

On Wednesday, the Prime Video star attended the launch of the Aussie Oh My Gloss collection in London.

Documenting her journey to the capital on social media, Cowan joked about "sneaking a look" at crops from the train window.

In a recent appearance on the Should I Delete That podcast, hosted by Clarkson’s daughter Emily, Cowan addressed the intense pace of her schedule and reflected on viewer reactions to a particular moment from the trailer.

In the scene, Cowan is asked if she’s watched Clarkson’s Farm before, to which she replies, “No.”

“When I watched it, it looked so fake,” Cowan admitted. “But it is so real because we don’t watch telly.”

She added that she and her boyfriend James are usually too exhausted to get through an episode of anything: “The second he can rest, he’ll sleep, because he’s so tired all the time.”

Her red carpet appearance comes days after she was snapped up by a talent agency, Off Limits Entertainment, which is home to a number of high-profile reality and TV personalities.

While Cowan’s career is clearly on the up, many viewers are still hoping for a return to Diddly Squat — especially after Kaleb Cooper revealed he has fractured his ankle.

Harriet initially took over his duties while he was away on tour, but their early scenes together were tense, with Kaleb giving her a frosty welcome that didn’t go unnoticed by fans.

Cowan admitted she had never watched a full episode of Clarkson’s Farm (Prime Video)

The pair have since made peace.

“Kaleb’s amazing – me and him are so close now,” Cowan told BBC Derby. “He's such a good farmer and we got on really well. He's another farmer to add to my phone list to ring.”

Despite fans calling for Clarkson to bring her back permanently, Cowan says there are “no plans at the minute” to return, though she’s left the door open.

“We've always left it very open. I'm here if he needs me, but no plans at the minute,” she added.

“He’s just another farmer for me. A flat peak cap and checked shirt, and all that.”
