I love this book. It really is great – in fact, the Clarice Bean books are probably the best books I’ve ever read!!
This book is about a girl called Clarice Bean who is a huge bookworm and is obsessed with Ruby Redford (a real book by Lauren Child and an amazing book as well!). Clarice gets into interesting and funny situations at school and at home.
I love these books because Clarice is a lot like me. I have a big and smaller brother and a big sister like her and I love to read. Also (spoiler alert) My best friend moved away too, as happens in another book.
In conclusion I love this book and I hope Lauren Child brings out more Clarice Bean books. I would recommend this book to anyone aged 9 – 13 and I would rate it 5/5.
