Clare Shine thanked supporters and vowed 'I'll be back' after she was found following a missing person's appeal earlier today.
The Irish football ace selflessly told her many supporters to look after themselves in a tweet this evening as she updated those who showed their concern when she was reported missing.
Shine tweeted: "Thank you everyone, I’m struggling and that’s okay. I’ll be back. Look after yourself."
Shine's club Glasgow City FC urged followers to help out after they grew concerned for her safety when she had not been seen since 9.30am this morning.
The club thankfully confirmed they had received 'reassuring information' on their player's wherabout this evening.
They added that everyone who helped track Shine down made "such a difference".
The club's statement read: "We have reassuring information about Clare's whereabouts and she has assistance.
"Thank you to everyone who helped. You made such a difference. We will say more when we can."
Star striker Shine's team-mates and coaches were among those to offer kind words in an outpouring of support for the international ace on social media.
She has bravely spoken about the topic of mental health in the past and has been vocal in encouraging people to talk when struggling themselves.
