Fans were left making the same point after Clare Balding's Sport Personality of The Year appearance.
The 50 year old presenter was hosting the awards alongside Gabby Logan, Gary Lineker and and Alex Scott.
The public voted between six athletes to see who will be crowned the winner on an evening that looked back at key sporting moments over the past year.

It's been a monumental 12 months for sport in the country as British athletes played huge roles in massive events such as the Olympics, Paralympics and Euro 2020.
The shortlist for tonight's event was narrowed down to six sportspeople who all represented different disciplines.
Tennis sensation Emma Raducanu is the favourite to take home the award after her phenomenal US Open win and was up against Tyson Fury, Adam Peaty, Tom Daley, Raheem Sterling and Dame Sarah Storey.
The presenters interviewed each candidate during tonight's ceremony which took place at Media City UK.
Clare dazzled in a psychedelic 60s inspired outfit and viewers of the event on Twitter were all left making the same connection to The Beatles.
