Thousands of people across Scotland have paid tribute to NHS staff and carers for their work during the coronavirus pandemic.
People took to their windows, doorsteps, gardens and balconies to thank staff who are working so hard to prevent the spread of the deadly virus.
The 'Clap for our Carers' took place at 8pm with people from across the United Kingdom commending health service workers.
So far in Britain a total of 578 people have died after testing positive for the coronavirus.

In Scotland, 25 people have passed away after contracting Covid-19, while 894 have tested positive for the virus.
Meanwhile notable buildings were lit up in blue for the salute as part of the #lightitblue campaign which has been organised by members of the events and entertainment industry as a way to say thank you.
First Minister Nicola Sturgeon tweeted: "Loving all the tweets from people who joined the #clapforNHS #clapforourcarers tonight. Some colleagues and I joined in from @scotgov HQ.
"To each and every one of you caring for us at this time."

Boris Johnson was joined by Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak outside 10 Downing Street as they took part in the national salute.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson tweeted: "On behalf of the whole country, I want to thank all the incredible nurses, doctors, NHS support staff & carers who are working flat out to fight coronavirus #ClapForOurCarers #ClapForNHS To help them, and protect the NHS, we need everyone to stay at home #StayHomeSaveLives"
After it was all over the official NHS Twitter account tweeted: "That was emotional."
