Thousands of Scots have once again come out to show their support for NHS staff and key workers who are keeping the country running during the coronavirus pandemic.
People across Scotland took to their windows, doorsteps, gardens and balconies to thank those fighting the deadly virus for the fifth week running.
'Clap for our Carers' took place at 8pm throughout the United Kingdom, as health staff and other key workers continued their amazing effort on the frontline.
It comes after a similar tribute was paid the last four weeks, with a number of pipers joining the public as part of the 'Pipe Up! for key workers' a fortnight ago.
While others, like residents in Glasgow, banged pots and pans and cheered on come 8pm.
Nicola Sturgeon tweeted: "Made it home just in time tonight to join my neighbours again in the #ClapForCarers #ClapForTheNHS - now such a special moment in the week. Deep gratitude to all our health and care workers - and to everyone keeping the country going."
A total of 1120 people have now died from coronavirus in Scotland, an increase of 58 since yesterday.
There are 9409 positive cases, which is an increase of 371 and 148 people in intensive care.
It marks a decrease of seven.
Sturgeon confirmed the figures at a press conference today.
