Released on April 24, 2025, "Clair Obscur: Expedition 3" is a turn-based RPG developed by Sandfall Interactive and published by Kepler Interactive.
It's a dark fantasy game set in the Belle Époque, a part of French history, in particular, that took place from 1871 until the outbreak of World War I in 1914.
The story of the game follows of people who set out to defeat an entity known as the Paintress, who erases those who are above a certain age.

As of press time, "Clair Obscur: Expedition 33" has more than 52,000 user reviews on Steam, which has categorized these reviews as "Very Positive."
Steam user JetsetradioH has gone as far as to call it the "GOTY," which means "Game of the Year."

"EASILY my top game of the year," Google user Usagi Yagi said in a review. "Every ounce of this is caked in passion, love, and art. From the scenery, to the dialogue, to the storytelling, right down to the smallest touches like UI design."
