A story on an entertainment portal suggested that Kartik Aaryan may no longer be part of producer Firoz Nadiadwala's pie-in-the-sky project Hera Pheri 3, due to, and we quote, “Kartik Aaryan’s reportedly old and dominating(sic.) habit of trying to control the shots on every film he has signed, much to the producer’s frustration.”
The hostile report also claimed that “filmmaker Firoz Nadiadwala is in very positive and promising talks for Hera Pheri 3 with Akshay Kumar again.”
But here is the truth: neither is Kartik out of the project, nor is Akshay Kumar thinking of getting back in. “Kartik had in principle said yes. Nothing was officially decided. And Kartik may opt out entirely if the confusion continues. Where is the question of trying to control the shots when there is no script in the first place?" a source close to Kartik clarifies.
"As for Akshay Kumar, for the umpteenth time, he has not part of Hera Pheri 3, not now, not in the future,” a source in the know informs.
Director Anees Bazmee who is said to have agreed to direct Hera Pheri 3 says, “I have not signed the film yet. It is still a matter under consideration. Until and unless I say yes, yeh Kartik Aaryan is in, Akshay Kumar is out chalta rahega.”
