Civic worksite deemed safe following gas leak evacuation

Emergency services have departed a worksite on Scotts Crossing near Bunda Street in Civic following an earlier evacuation.

The source of the leak has been identified and the scene has been handed back to the gas company.

ACT Fire and Rescue has advised that the earlier exclusion zones has now been revoked and the area has been deemed safe.
