Civic upkeep: GNIDA issues 19 tenders worth Rs 42 crore

GREATER NOIDA: GNIDA on Wednesday issued 19 tenders of Rs 42.6 crores for works related to horticulture, road resurfacing, power upgrade, water and signage, etc across sectors Omicron 1, Sigma 2 and Rampur Fatehpur, Dabra and Rithori villages, etc.

The work will include cleaning of Dasna drain from Crossings Republik to Sector 16 C, repair and upgradation of way finding system across sectors, resurfacing of internal roads in Sector Sigma 2, road signage work at many places across work circle 1-8 and earth-filling work on plot number 4 at Sector IT city Techzone.

Development work of 6% abadi plots in Sector Omicron 1 and repair of drain and raising the boundary wall of Sector Xu-2 will be carried out along with construction of RCC sedimentation chamber at villages Rampur Fatehpur, Dabra and Rithori.

Tenders for works under work circle 8 include completion of remaining work of interlocking tiles and drain at village Janipura and construction of boundary wall, shed, platform and connecting road of cremation ground in village Roni. Interlocking tiles’ work will also be done from village Hateva to Kanarsi link road and at villages Astauli, Amarpur and Nawada. Also, completion of development works in abadi plots of villages Ghanghola, Sirsa, Luxar, Kasna and Khanpur will be carried out.

Deep Chandra, ACEO GNIDA, said, “The work will commence in the next two months once all formalities related to tender allocation are completed.”
