Bus provider Citylink have teamed up with the event organisers behind Edinburgh’s Hogmanay Street Party to provide late night services for party-goers travelling home from the capital.
They will be providing buses from Edinburgh to Glasgow, Stirling, Dundee, Perth, Kinross, Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes, St Andrews, Falkirk and Livingston after the world-famous New Year's party.
These special services must be pre-booked however - and there won't be any seats available for the journey home after the party if you haven't booked in advance.
The last services from Edinburgh Bus Station after the party are as follows:
- Glasgow (direct) - 0030, 0100 and every half hour thereafter until 0830.
- Dundee/Dunfermline/Kinross/Perth - 0100 and 0300.
- St Andrews/Glenrothes/Kirkcaldy - 0115 and 0315.
- Glasgow via Livingston/Falkirk/Stirling - 0130 and 0330.
