CityJet: the quickest way to France

The problem with most of London's major airports is that by the time you've arrived, you feel like you've done the entire journey, using (often expensive) trains, tubes and taxis. London City airport offers a different travel experience. It is the most centrally located of all the London airports, just 13 minutes from Canary Wharf. If you're planning a holiday to France this spring or summer, fly with CityJet from London City and you will be guaranteed a speedier, more comfortable journey.

CityJet flies to eight locations in France from London City, so whatever type of holiday you're planning – city break, beach retreat or activity holiday – you'll find a route to match.

In northern France, CityJet flies to Paris Orly, Deauville, Brest and Nantes. Paris is the ultimate city break and as Orly is just 20 minutes from the city centre, it's quick to travel there. Deauville is the perfect retreat for art lovers, an elegant seaside town within easy reach of Monet's famous gardens at Giverny, while Nantes is a great spot to sample some decent wines from the Loire.

In the south, you can fly to Brive in Dordogne, Avignon in Provence, the Pyrenean city of Pau, and Toulon on the Côte d'Azur, which offers a less glitzy but more authentic alternative to the more famous French Riviera resorts.

CityJet has four different fares for families – CitySaver, CityValue, CityFlex and CityPremium – depending on the level of flexibility you're looking for. All CityJet fares offer web and mobile check-in, 15-minute airport check-in times and complimentary drinks and snacks on all flights.

CitySaver is the airline's most affordable fare, perfect if you're certain of your travel dates and plan to travel with only hand baggage. The CityValue fare allows you to take one piece of hold luggage, plus a golf bag, and also gives you the option of choosing your own seat. The CityFlex fare gives you the additional benefit of being able to change or refund your ticket at no extra cost. The CityPremium fare offers full-ticket flexibility, plus a range of additional extras, including access to the executive lounge, front-row seating and an in-flight meal.

With CitySaver return fares starting from £109, CityJet is one of the easiest, most affordable ways to travel to France.
