The ECHO has taken a look inside three Liverpool houses which are up for sale for under £50,000, a bargain in today's market.
The three properties are located in Anfield, on Bala Street and Stonehill Street respectively, and are being marketed by Sutton Kersh.
The two roads run adjacent to each other and lie off Oakfield Road, a stone's throw from the likes of Anfield Stadium and Stanley Park, and within 1.5 miles of both Kirkdale and Sandhill train stations.
Each house is a standard, terraced two-up two-down and all three are in need of a revamp, but represent a great opportunity for someone willing to get stuck into a renovation project.

On Bala Street, the red brick property is on the market for £46,000 and currently has bare floorboards and boarded up windows and doors.

The reception room however is generously proportioned, with the stairs heading to the top floor in the kitchen.
Two of the homes are located on Stonehill Street and are listed at £46,000 and £48,000. The more expensive house is somewhat larger, with the family bathroom on the ground floor behind the kitchen and two decent-sized bedrooms upstairs.
The £46,000 home has a similar layout but looks like it would require more work.

The sale of all three of the houses are subject to a number of conditions. Each Zoopla listing said: "The property is being offered by way of a 125-year lease and must be owner occupied only and must not be used as a house in multiple occupation."
The purchaser must also complete a full revamp of each home within two years from the lease commencement date and will be responsible for a number of fees, including a £1,500 vendors surveyor fee and legal costs amounting to £1,500.

It added: "The purchaser will enter into an overage provision stating that if they dispose of the property within ten years of the lease commencement date for over the purchase price paid, then the vendor will receive a 50% uplift in value."
Properties in Bala Street sold for an overall average of £67,500 over the last year, a 12% jump on the previous 12 months. In Stonehill Street, homes have fetched between £50,000 and £76,000 since January 2021.
