City centre's ultimate Christmas bar 'Miracle on Seel Street' is returning for 2019

Christmas will be here before we know it and now one of the city's most popular festive attractions has announced its plans to return this year.

Miracle on Seel Street will be tucked away in a secret bar, usually known as 83, above much-loved Salt Dog Slims when it returns to Liverpool.

The bar will be transformed into a winter wonderland complete with a cosy fire with hanging Christmas stockings, comfy leather armchairs and decked out head-to-toe in fairy lights, multiple Christmas trees covered in tinsel, baubles and candy canes, and a flat screen TV showcasing festive films.

Its team confirmed the news on Instagram in a post which said: "Returning November 2019.

"Your favourite Christmas Grotto 'Miracle on Seel Street' will be opening its doors again mid November & it's gonna be more festive than ever before."

Bookings will be open from next week and guests can buy tickets for mid November until New Year’s Eve priced at £10 per person.

Tickets will secure guests a table for two hours, a complimentary drink of either homemade Irish cream or mulled wine, and a goody bag filled with festive treats.

John Ennis, director of GSG, who is bringing the bar back to Liverpool, said: “Miracle is coming back with a bang.

"It was so popular last year and so we’ve taken the decorations to the next level and it’ll be returning bigger and better than ever before.

“Who wouldn’t love spending the festive season in a Christmas-themed bar complete with over the top decorations and delicious Christmas cocktails whilst some of your favourite festive films are playing the background?”

Miracle on Seel Street will be open Monday - Thursday from 5pm until late, and Friday - Sunday from 12pm until late.

Bookings must be made until early evening, however after that, it will be open for walk-ins and late night festivities.
