City careers festival for young Londoners gives access to some of world's largest firms

Young Londoners are being given access to some of the world’s largest firms as part of a careers festival in the City.

More than 130 businesses including Google, KPMG and Amazon are taking part in the London Careers Festival, organised by the City of London Corporation.

Some 5,000 students aged 10 to 19 will link up with firms across the Square Mile to talk about roles and apply for placements.

The Evening Standard, which has an editorial bursary apprenticeship scheme supported by the Stationers & Newspapers livery company, will have a stand at Apprentice19 festival which is being held at The Guildhall today.
