City Bypass tailbacks as broken down lorry blocks two lanes at Sheriffhall Roundabout

A broken down lorry has been causing lengthy delays on the Edinburgh City Bypass.

Two lanes were currently blocked eastbound at Sheriffhall Roundabout as a result, and Traffic Scotland confirmed at 6.14am that recovery was on the way.

Lanes one and two, of four, were affected and this is likely to cause some problems for those using the route to get to work on Monday morning.

An update was provided at 7.05am to say that the broken down vehicle had been removed, however tailbacks remained.
