CISF jawan performs CPR, saves unconscious passenger at Delhi's Nehru Place Metro Station

NEW DELHI: A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) jawan came to the rescue when a 60-year-old man fell unconscious at Nehru Place metro station in Delhi on Thursday.

The incident occurred around 2:40 pm near an escalator on the station's exit side. CISF constable Mantu Kumar, on duty at the time, promptly administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), successfully reviving the passenger.

The individual was then rushed to a nearby hospital for further treatment, accompanied by family members who were alerted by the station's security staff.

The CISF, responsible for guarding the Delhi metro network, reaffirmed its commitment to passenger safety and well-being. Over the years, CISF personnel have saved numerous lives by timely intervention with CPR.
