Yaron Lifschitz directs the Circa ensemble in a new work for kids, Carnival of the Animals. The animals dance their way through their kingdom, accompanied by Camille Saint-Saëns’s classical music suite, as reworked and extended by Australian composer Quincy Grant. These zebras juggle and flip, the kangaroos somersault, the elephants dance, and the dinosaur bones shake, clatter and roll.
