Odeon has given cinema fans a taste of what they can expect from its revamped multi-screen venue in Dundee.
The Odeon Luxe will have 903 fully-reclining seats across 10 screens, with more leg-room, comfort and individual retractable tables. They will include a 171-seat iSense screen with an "immersive, ultra-high-definition cinema experience", 4K projection and Dolby ATMOS 3D sound.
And in tribute to the city's cartoon history, the cinema on Douglas Road will be given a comic mural celebrating the city’s history.
The revamp is due to be complete by late November, in time for winter blockbusters including Frozen 2 (22 November), Charlie’s Angels (29 November) and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (19 December). In the meantime, the cinema will remain open.
Dundee is one of 21 others around the UK to get a Luxe refurbishment.
