Cinderella is officially back in the valley, but she needs some help getting back in the groove of things in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Specifically, she wants you to assist her with her next project in the Cinderella's Custom Creation quest.

How to complete Cinderella's Custom Creation in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To complete the Cinderella's Custom Creation quest, you need to help Cinderella get inspired and craft her next project. There's a lot to work through in this process, so here's a full breakdown of all key steps you need to tackle throughout this mission.
Recruit Daisy for Cinderella's project
The first step is to recruit Daisy to help out, too, as she's quite creative and Cinderella wants all the help she can get. Track down Daisy around the valley and chat with her to see what she thinks. Then, head to Daisy's Boutique to meet up with her and some other friends she invited to help out, too, and chat with Daisy inside.
Take pictures to inspire Cinderella
Cinderella needs some help getting inspired, so you need to take three pictures to help her out. These photos must be of specific features around the valley, including:
- Sunbirds
- White & Red Hydrangea
- Citrine
For the Sunbirds, you'll need to visit the Sunlit Plateau region and snap a photo with one of the birds flying around there. A Sunbird Companion you can equip doesn't count for this task; it must be one that's out in the wild.
For the White & Red Hydrangea and Citrine, the rules are a bit more flexible. You can either find these items out in the valley or grab them from your storage and drop them on the ground to take some pictures. If you want to find them in the valley, head to Dazzle Beach to pick up White & Red Hydrangea and the Sunlit Plateau or the Glade of Trust to mine for Citrine.
Once you've taken all three photos, head back to Daisy's Boutique to meet up with the rest of the group. Talk to Cinderella there to progress. Turns out, she's actually been wanting to make furniture this whole time, not clothing, to try something new, so you have to pivot a bit to make this work.
Gather materials for making Cinderella's Divider Base
Cinderella has settled on crafting a Divider, so your next mission is to craft a Divider Base for her. Before you can do so, though, you need to gather materials for making Cinderella's Divider Base, including:
- 15 Softwood – Found on the ground near trees in most biomes, including the Plaza, Peaceful Meadow, Forest of Valor, Glade of Trust, and all of Ancient's Landing. It's also sometimes available for purchase from Kristoff's Stall and can drop when breaking Tree Stumps.
- Five Gold Ingots – Can be crafted using five Gold Nuggets and one Coal Ore. It's also sometimes available at Kristoff's Stall.
- Two Sapphires – Can be mined from rock nodes throughout the Vitalys Mines. It may also sometimes be available at Aladdin's Gem Stall.
Craft the Divider Base for Cinderella
Once you have everything you need, head to any crafting station around the valley to get started on crafting the Divider Base for Cinderella. At the crafting station, switch over to the Functional Items page to find and make the Divider Base.
Then, meet up with Cinderella in her house, wherever you previously chose to place it around the valley. Chat with her to pass over the Divider Base you made and progress onto the next step in this quest.
Talk to Jasmine about the magic of colors
Next, track down Jasmine around the valley to chat with her about the magic of colors. She's got some dyes to help you out, but you'll need to gather some additional materials and mix everything together yourself to get the right color.
Gather the ingredients to make Purple Dye
You now need to gather the ingredients required to make Purple Dye, which includes:
- Canola – Can be planted and grown using Canola Seeds, which can be bought from Goofy's Stall in the Forest of Valor and Ancient's Landing.
- Squid – Can be fished out of blue and white ripple spots in the Glade of Trust, Forgotten Lands, and all throughout Mythopia.
- Blueberry – Can be picked from Blueberry bushes. Initially, there are two bushes in Dazzle Beach and three in the Forest of Valor, but you may have moved them elsewhere.
- Raspberry – Can be picked from Raspberry bushes. Two of these bushes start off in the Plaza, and four originate from the Peaceful Meadow. You may have moved them elsewhere, though.
- Purple Pigment – Gifted to you by Jasmine in the previous step.
Cook the ingredients together to make Purple Dye
Once you have all five required ingredients, head to any cooking station in the valley and select the Purple Dye recipe. Toss in the five items to make the dye you need. Then, bring the Purple Dye you made, and the Yellow Dye Jasmine gave you to Daisy.
Once Daisy has dyed the fabric, track down Minnie to get a special finishing touch for Cinderella's project. Return to Cinderella's house once you're done chatting with her so you can give Cinderella all of the items you acquired for her project. Then, place Minnie's finishing touch on the Divider.
Take a group photo to remember this moment
Now that Cinderella's project is complete, it's time to snap a picture to capture the moment. Equip your phone from the tool wheel, and take a group photo to complete this step. As soon as you do, a strange fabric will appear on the ground. Pick it up and chat with Cinderella one last time to complete the Cinderella's Custom Creation quest.
