Sunday, a set of Cincinnati Bengals redesigned jerseys appeared to leak on social media, immediately going viral.
The jerseys, never seen publicly before, certainly looked the part of something official — or very close to it. Bathed in new stripes and with refinements on the old design that included the removal of the number shadow and side panels, it fit right with what the team said it wanted to do with the redesign.
We probably won’t know for a long time whether the leak was real, provided the team doesn’t bump up the timetable (the team has said it won’t reveal them in March).
For now, fans had a wide range of reactions to the potential leak, which gives us a pretty good idea of how the jerseys will be received if they’re the real thing:

I mean, if you talk to a lot of fans, they wanted the side panels gone, they wanted cleaner, they wanted the 'B' gone. This uni does all that.
