You had to know this one was coming. Sports personality Colin Cowherd has been a vocal critic of the Pittsburgh Steelers Steelers since before the season even got started. Even during the team’s 11-game win streak, Cowherd went out of his way to troll Pittsburgh and its fans at every turn.
And he did all that just for this moment. Cowherd took to social media to post the video above, cigar in hand, asking for an apology from Steeler Nation for the hate they throw at him when he’s critical of the Steelers.
Pittsburgh fell to 11-1 on Monday night after a 23-17 loss to the Washington Football Team. Cowherd has been saying the Steelers were more pretender than contender for much of the season and this loss just stoked the fired of his opinion.
Steelers fans need to realize this is who Cowherd is. It’s how he has made his name in sports media. If you give him the fuel he’s just going to throw it on the fire and if he’s wrong he will act like it never happened. The Steelers aren’t worried about what Cowherd is saying and Steelers’ fans shouldn’t either.
