Ciaran Kilkenny tells Dublin to go and party after winning five-in-a-row

An emotional Ciaran Kilkenny has told the city of Dublin to go and party after winning a fifth All-Ireland title in a row.

Kilkenny put in an excellent attacking display in the 1-18 0-15 victory over Kerry.

Kilkenny smashed over 0-4 of his own while also contributing to many more, orchestrating the attack in his best performance of the year.

And the Castleknock man seemed eager to let off a little steam tonight after the game.

"That's the most special feeling I've ever felt in my whole life," Kilkenny told RTE.

"I'm so emotional. We did it!

"It's such a relief after the first game, it was a titanic battle and much respect to this Kerry team, but to get over the line means so much to this group. There's grown men out on that pitch in tears.

"We're so proud of each other, our families, this county. I'm absolutely delighted.

"I suppose, we can just go and party! Woo!"
