Cian Healy targeting a Leinster vs Saracens Champions Cup return

Cian Healy is targeting a quick-fire return in time for Leinster's Champions Cup quarter-final against Saracens on Saturday, April 4.

Prop Healy, 32, limped off with a hip injury just 25 minutes into Ireland's Six Nations defeat at Twickenham last Sunday and has been ruled out of the remainder of the championship.

However the Clontarf man is setting his sights on making the big European clash at the Aviva Stadium. Saracens beat Leinster in last year's final in Newcastle.

"Big thanks to everyone for their kind messages over the last few days," said Healy on his Instagram page.

"Absolutely gutted with the injury but one thing is for sure, I will come back stronger and better.

"I'm surrounded by incredible medical teams in both @leinsterrugbyand @irishrugby and have every faith in the plan ahead.

"We've set a target to return for the @europeanrugbychampionscup QF and I will do everything in my power to achieve this!

"Time to get to work".
