Scottish trio Chvrches will bring their synth-pop to Australia following their US and Europe tour and the release of their second album Eyes Wide Open.
Band members Iain Cook and Martin Doherty met at university, and played in separate bands before joining Lauren Mayberry to make music in late 2011.
Their hit The Mother We Share was featured in the 2014 Commonwealth Games and they were nominated for British breakthrough act at the Brit awards in 2015. In the same year Mayberry spoke out against online trolls and gender inequality in the music industry.
