Memorial Mass onboard a ship in Dover: 'Catholic seafarers' charity Apostleship of the Sea (AoS) provides chaplains in ports around the world to provide practical and pastoral care for seafarers. Their congregations are always changing. This picture was taken in the mess of the ship. Following the death of a crewmember's brother, one of the officers asked that AoS arrange for a Mass to be said on board. On the ship's arrival at Dover, Fr John Panario, Parish Priest of Our Lady of Dover Church, celebrated the Mass of Pentecost. The Captain and crew were very appreciative.
