Three burglaries of churches in Grand Crossing on the South Side have been reported since last month.
In each incident, two people entered a church through front or side windows and took property, according to Chicago police.
The break-ins happened:
- At 5 p.m. June 25 in the 6400 Block of South Woodlawn Avenue;
- At 12:37 p.m. June 29 in the 6400 Block of South Kimbark Avenue; and
- Between 10 p.m. July 3 and 7:30 a.m. July 4 in the 6400 Block of South Woodlawn Avenue.
The suspects are described as two bald men between the ages of 30 and 40, police said.
