Bollywood actor Chunky Pandey sure has an upcoming star in house - irrespective of whether or not she makes a Bollywood debut, his daughter Ananya is ruling the internet and her latest pictures only add oomph to her public image.
The 18-year-old daughter of Chunky and Bhavna Pandey is already being talked about. Close friends with Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana and Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya, it is speculated that she will be seen making her Bollywood debut after finishing her studies. Ananya has just graduated from Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai and will reportedly start university in the US soon.
In the latest pictures going viral online, Ananya is seen in cute pink shorts.
Talking about his daughter’s Bollywood ambitions, Chunky earlier told Hindustan Times, “I would like to tell her that it’s important that you don’t imitate anyone else’s success story. You have to make your own story, and I would love to be known as Ananya Pandey’s father.”
Ananya will soon make her debut at le Bal. Each year since 1992, ‘le Bal’, also referred to as le Bal des Débutantes, brings together 20 girls and 20 boys from a dozen nationalities. Several young Indian ladies have made their debut in high society at le Bal, including Princess Adishree Singh of Jammu and Kashmir (2009), Shaiyara Devi of Kapurthala (2011), Ashna Mehta (2011), Princess Askshita Bhanjdeo of Mayurbhanj and Jaisalmer (2013), Isha Ambani (2011) and Jayati Modi (2016).
This year, le Bal will see Princess Gauravi Kumari of Jaipur along with Ananya.
Ananya will be dressed by Jean Paul Gaultier, while Princess Gauravi will be wearing a sari-inspired couture gown by Tarun Tahiliani. Fine jewellery by Payal New York, an eponymous label by Indian-origin Payal Mehta, will adorn each participant.
