A Newcastle taqueria is showing its support for Pride by selling rainbow-coloured soft tortillas.
Chucho's has created the LGBTQ+ tribute to celebrate June's Pride month and will sell them as Newcastle prepares to host Northern Pride in July.
The soft tortillas are still homemade - as always at Chucho's in Byker and Jesmond - and will be paired with the Mexican takeaway and cafe's rotation of fresh fillings, with meaty and vegetarian options both available.
Emma Wass - who first opened Chucho's in Byker with Mexican husband Jesus Tavizon Sosa in Shields Road in 2017 - says she is thrilled with the tortillas.
The rainbow tacos will be available from 5-7pm this Friday, then 5-7pm on Thursday July 4th, Friday July 5, Thursday July 11 and Friday July 12th.
The Pride-themed tortillas will then be back throughout Newcastle Pride Weekend, from Thursday July 18 to Saturday July 21 from 5-7pm (Thurs - Sat) and 1-3pm on the Sunday.
Newcastle hosts Northern Pride from July 19 - 21, and its set to be the city's biggest LGBTQ+ celebration yet .
