The boy is thought to have ran off towards a wooded area leading to Rose Bridge High School following the assault. He is believed to have been joined by another youth, who was wearing blue shorts, reported the Manchester Evening News.

The offender is described as being approximately 4ft tall, of chubby build, with dark coloured hair, short at the back and sides with a longer flick at the front.
