Christy Moore, The Stunning and more announce Galway stadium shows - how to get tickets

Christy Moore, Ardal O'Hanlon, Deirdre O’Kane, Mary Coughlan and The Stunning are set to take to the stage in Galway later this month.

The host of talent will play Galway’s Pearse Stadium over four days in front of a limited audience of 500 people.

The shows, presented by Roisín Dubh Galway and Galway Comedy Festival, will take place at the Salthill venue between August 26-29.

The event will be held under government guidelines, with tickets sold in pods of four people and a limited number of two-person pods.

Tickets for all shows are priced between €25 and €35 and go on sale this Friday, August 13 at staggered times due to the expected demand.

Christy Moore headlines the gig on August 26 with support from rising star, Junior Brother.

There’s a comedy doubleheader the following night, August 27, as Ardal O’Hanlon and Deirdre O’Kane go back to back with Karl Spain as MC for the night.

Saturday 28th will see Mary Coughlan celebrate the 35th anniversary of her debut album Tired and Emotional for the first half of her set, followed by her greatest hits to finish.

She will be supported by Niamh O’ Regan.

The final gig in the four-night extravaganza is by The Stunning on August 29.

They will be supported by multi-instrumentalist and spellbinding vocalist, Tracy Bruen.

Gates every night are 7pm with shows starting at 8pm. A click and collect bar service will be in operation.
