Fans of Christy Moore have been left devastated as the singer has cancelled his upcoming gigs due to new covid measures.
The Irish singer was due to perform at Vicar Street in Dublin on December 8, 14, and 16, and January 3 and 9.
But following the announcement of new Government guidelines, Aiken Promotions announced they have been cancelled and all customers will be refunded.

His show scheduled for tonight, Monday, December 6, will go ahead as planned.
Shows scheduled on December 14, 16 and January 3 and 9 will now be replaced with reduced-capacity concerts, but original tickets will not be valid for these dates.
The new shows will go ahead with a capacity of 50%.
The concert scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, December 8, will not go ahead in any form.
A statement from the concert promoter said that customers will be refunded for their tickets on these dates and if they wish to attend, they must buy tickets once again on Tuesday morning.
“Following the announcement of the new Government guidelines re Covid-19 measures, Aiken Promotions today announced that Christy Moore’s upcoming concerts at Vicar Street on December 8, 14 and 16 and January 3 and 9 will be cancelled, all customers will be refunded for their tickets for these shows.
“Reduced capacity (50%) shows for the dates listed below will go on sale Tuesday December 7 at 9am. Please note original tickets will NOT be valid for these new shows.”
It comes as new government restrictions see indoor events, such as concerts, forced to limit their capacity at 50% of the venue’s total capacity.
Tickets for the new reduced-capacity concert’s will go on sale Tuesday, December 7 at 9am.
