Ever ahead of the curve, River Island has launched a new capsule collection with the doyen of hip menswear, Christopher Shannon, for its Design Forum. Following the collection with James Long, this 11-piece range channels workwear combined with nu-lad. Our heads were turned by the sheeny-shiny tracksuit bottoms and bobbly bucket hat, but this jacket – part Puffa, part lumberjack – is the right side of 90s streetwear. The whole collection is geared around textural fabrics that make it look more expensive than it is. You can bet it will sell out fast.
