Christopher Maloney has split from his fiancé of 10 years, Mirror Online can reveal.
The X Factor and Celebrity Big Brother star has been left devastated after ending his long-term romance with Gary Doran, just months before their wedding was due to go ahead.
Christopher, 41, first met Gary, 37, by chance in Liverpool in 2005 and they fell in love at first sight.
They lost contact after singer Chris went to work in America but met up again in 2009 and have been together ever since.
They went through a rough patch a the beginning of their relationship when Gary cheated on Chris, but after working through it, they'd remained strong for years.
Chris, who starred in the 2012 series of X Factor, was set to tie the knot with Gary early next year.
Pal Rylan Clark-Neal was going to be his best man and close friend Danniella Westbrook was set to be chief birdesmaid.
But now, it's all over, and pals think it may be for the best.
A source close to the former couple told us: "I really feel for Christopher right now, he's been left to pick up the pieces.
"We never really took to Gary. We know he cheated on Christopher at the beginning of their relationship and Christopher forgave him, which was a big thing to do.
"We wouldn't be surprised if he was up to his old tricks. Christopher now has to get over the split and start dating again."
When asked about the split, Christopher confirmed it was over.
He said: "I have fond memories of the years we spent together and wish Gary well for the future."
Christopher released his autobiography, Wildcard, just a few months ago.
In it, he opened up about the tough times he's been through and his battles with mental health.
