Christopher Jullien sounds Celtic battle cry but inadvertently echoes Steven Gerrard

New Celtic signing Christopher Jullien certainly sounds like one of the Bhoys just two days after sealing his £7million from Toulouse.

The big defender has hit social media to ingratiate himself with the Hoops support and insists he can't wait to sample the Parkhead atmosphere.

Jullien posted a heartfelt message on Instagram on Sunday afternoon in which he expressed his delight and excitement at joining the treble Treble winners.

His message was full of the right phrases, with a Hail Hail, a trebleTreble hashtag and dubbing Celtic as "one of the best in the world".

Only one slight misjudgement came as the Frenchman turned his attention to getting down to work. His "let's go" vow might just jar slightly with the Hoops support given that it was the hashtag which dominated Steven Gerrard 's arrival at rivals Rangers last year.

All innocent of course. Jullien is clearly looking forward to starting work as Celtic chase nine in a row.

He said: "Hail, Hail Bhoys.

"First of all, I'm really happy to join such as historic club! @celticfc

"Being welcomed so warmly by all the fans is such an incredible moment for me.

"I will do my best to help the club and my team-mates to achieve all our goals.

"I can't wait to wear the Hoops, be on the pitch and discover the Celtic Park crowd. Officially one of the best in the world. #trebleTreble winners.

"Now let's go, let's get it done #GR8since1888 Big up @classico_sportsm #WelcometoParadise"
