Christopher Jullien sends defiant Celtic message as defender aims to put Livingston loss behind him

Christopher Jullien is 'eager' to put Celtic's defeat to Livingston behind him and get back to winning ways after the international break.

The defender, who has impressed since arriving from Toulouse in the summer for £7million, was below his usual high standards in the 2-0 defeat to Livi.

The Frenchman struggled to deal with the Lions' physical approach and striker Lyndon Dykes who got on the scoresheet.

Jullien was guilty of getting involved in various altercations with the opposition and visibly lost his cool after a difficult afternoon at the office.

But the 26-year-old is ready to bounce back when Celtic face Ross County and sent an empathic message on social media.

He said on Twitter: "Eager to get back on the pitch #neverstaydown #daretocreate."

The Parkhead side were up against it early on as Ryan Christie was sent off for the visitors after a dreadful challenge on Scott Robinson.

The defeat to Livingston meant Rangers went into the international break two points clear at the top of the Premiership table.
