Christopher Jullien on Celtic comeback trail as big defender posts injury return montage

Christopher Jullien says he 'can't wait' to get back onto the pitch for Celtic, posting a video showing that his return is on the horizon.

The big defender has been out since September with a back problem and hasn't featured since the 5-0 victory over Ross County.

In his absence, the defending champions have struggled, and now sit nine points behind Premiership leaders Rangers with two games in hand.

Their defensive record has been called into question with Shane Duffy in particular subject to plenty of criticism from fans and pundits.

Posting a video on his Twitter feed, however, Jullien has hinted that he will soon be back to save the day.

Captioning a video of himself lifting weights and performing all manner of athletic feats, the Frenchman said: "First part of the rehab is done, thanks Aimery, we've put a hell of a [lot of] work.

"It's never easy to recover from this kind of injury, next step is getting back to 100%. Grateful for all your messages.

"Can't wait to be on the pitch again with my teammates."
