Celtic star Christopher Jullien has handed supporters a positive update as he steps up his return from a horrendous knee injury.
The towering defender posted a club to videos his Instagram showing him returning to running for the first time.
The 27-year-old is pictured in his Celtic training gear as he steps up the work out on the treadmill.
He is filmed being put through his paces at the Clairefontaine medical centre in France.
Alongside the clip, Jullien posted: "Big Mood! Cleared for Running!"
Before leaving the club former boss Neil Lennon suggested the star, who sickeningly collided with a post in a December win over Dundee United, could be out for up to nine months.
However, the footage will delight Hoops fans and anyone applying for the vacant manager job as he appears to be stepping up his progress ahead of the new Premiership campaign.
Interim boss John Kennedy has previously praised the centre-back Kennedy insists the 6ft 5in stopper will be a vital part of a new-look squad.
With Eddie Howe seemingly the frontrunner for the hot seat, Kennedy said: “He’s in a good place mentally. So that’s important – it allows him to get his work in on the right path to recovery.
“Will he be part of the rebuild here? Well, we brought him in for that reason.
“This period has been a big setback but he’s been an important figure for us. We want him back fit and healthy and, when he is, he’ll have a big future at the club.”
