Christopher Jullien’s wife was a dancer in the famous Moulin Rouge in Paris.
But the big Celtic defender is hoping to help stop Paris Saint-Germain’s stars putting on a show tonight.
The centre-half is back on his home turf and he knows the French champions are more than capable of dancing around most rivals.
PSG have already hit 16 goals in pre-season and Celtic were dazzled by a dozen when the sides met in the Champions League three years ago.
Jullien is convinced the Parkhead men can can get a decent result but more importantly the glamour clash is the perfect dress rehearsal for the European qualifiers on the horizon.
The former Toulouse centre-back said: “My wife worked at the Moulin Rouge but we are involved in a different kind of show!
“It’s always a big stage when you play against PSG. Whenever we came here with Toulouse it was prime time because they have so many individual stars.
“It will be a great game for us to be on the pitch with them. At the end of the day it’s a game of football but we are going to enjoy the show.
“All the games we have played this week have been tough and they can help us in terms of experience for the season. We are preparing for a big season and we want to win as many games as we can.
“All the work we are doing now is to get it right for the next few weeks.”
Jullien is enjoying being back in his homeland, with the Hoops squad based in the shadow of the iconic Eiffel Tower.
But he knows Celtic have an even taller task this evening against a side he believes have a case for being the best on the planet.
Jullien added: “It’s funny seeing all the guys taking pictures of the Eiffel Tower as I am so used to seeing it on this side of the city.
“It’s great to be back home again. There are a lot of friends and family who are going to come along. It’s been a long time since they watched me in France and I hope they will enjoy it.
“I would say PSG are among the top five teams in the world right now. When they have their strongest XI out, maybe even the best in the world.

“They are top class. It will be really tough but it will be a good test for us in terms of the level we are at.”
Jullien has more experience than most of the squad in taking on the French Galacticos.
He was part of the Toulouse side who ran into Neymar on his PSG debut – as the Brazilian superstar ran amok in a 6-2 win.
But the rest of the encounters were far closer affairs and the classy defender even managed to get the better of the Paris powerhouse a couple of times.
But even the rare wins are pretty tough and Jullien is well aware of what he is up against tonight.
He said: “How do you stop these guys? You can’t! Especially Neymar, as he is so versatile.
“He appears everywhere. He can attack from either side of the pitch and it makes it difficult for midfielders and defenders.
“He is so dangerous if he finds some space so we have to close the gaps as much as we can. But it will be difficult.
“When I played against them with Toulouse the games were pretty close – apart from Neymar’s first game for PSG.
“He was something else that day. You could see he wanted to show the city what he can do. He was just better than us by far.
“I was proud to win a couple of games against them too but even in those games it was far from easy.”
But Jullien doesn’t mind a busy night. The 27-year-old is arguably at his best when he has his back to the wall.
The defender won over the Celtic support with his blockbuster displays in the epic home and away wins over Lazio – and in the Betfred Cup Final when 10-men Hoops had to hang on against Rangers.

Jullien even managed to pop up with crucial goals in those games but he’ll be happy just to have a fairly stress-free evening in his home city.
He said: “I spent a lot of time defending my box. It was pressure for 90 minutes.
“I try to do my best. You can enjoy dealing with the pressure but in some of these games, like the Lazio games and the Betfred Cup Final, there was a lot of defending but I managed to score a couple of goals.
“The most important thing is doing that against PSG.”
