Christopher Jullien fires Celtic injury beacon of hope as star sends 'hardcore focus' message

Celtic star Christopher Jullien is back with a ball at his feet as he continues to make his recovery from a horrendous knee injury.

The big defender posted videos on his Instagram story on Thursday showing him at the Clairefontaine medical centre in France.

The 27-year-old is pictured in his Celtic training gear as he works his way back to fitness at the nation's premier football facility.

He is filmed on an exercise bike, doing keepie-uppy and performing a balance exercise with a ball.

Neil Lennon suggested the star, who sickeningly collided with a post in a December win over Dundee United, might still be out for another six to nine months.

But he looks well ahead of that schedule in footage that's sure to delight Hoops fans and anyone applying for the vacant manager job.

The defender also posted an inspirational quote that stated: "Six months of hardcore focus and alignment can put you five years ahead in life.

"Don't underestimate the power of consistency and desire.

"You have what it takes to become the best that you can be.

"Don't ever doubt yourself. Harness your power. Exceed your expectations."
