Christopher Ecclestone rants at people who leave used nappies in his favourite park

After spending years as the injustice-battling Doctor, Christopher Eccleston is more than used to refusing to take things lying down.

Now the 55-year-old has another enemy in his sights - litter bugs, and those who leave filthy used nappies for others to suffer.

The former Dr Who star has launched a foul-mouthed Instagram tirade aimed at those he says are wrecking his favourite park.

Complaining to his 33,500 followers, he launched into the selfish people saying he "hopes Mother Nature takes revenge on them".

The mess at North Manchester beauty-spot Heaton Park is getting out of control he says - and he took drastic action to call out those ruining things for evertyone.

"It's one of the most beautiful parks in the country," he said. "I've been coming here since I was a kid.

"It really is a beautiful place... and it's covered in s**t, by people who have picnics, and leave their coke bottles, and their wrappers.

"There's s**t everywhere, dirty nappies, they just foul it up.

"I tell you what I hope nature takes its revenge on you, every single one of you that leaves s**t on the floor and in parks.

"What you've done to Heaton Park is disgusting. And hope the planet turns round and s***s on you," he fumed.

He called for action after becoming fed up with the state of the place and he wasn't alone with many also noticing the problem is growing.

Unsurprisingly, his followers on Insta were quick to back him up.

"People who take the natural environment for granted are morons," one posted.

Another added: "This infuriates me too Chris. They have got no respect and none of this behaviour is acceptable."

One fan put: "This is everything the Doctor should say about our planet!"
