It's going to be cold, frosty, and clear on Christmas Day.
Met Eireann have ruled out any chances of snow saying it's going to be very pleasant for anyone who has to travel to see friends and family on the day.
Today will be cold and dull throughout the morning before some sunny spells break through around lunch time.
They said: "A cold and dull morning with rain and drizzle for a time, it'll be drier later with sunny spells developing. Highest temperatures will be 8 or 9 degrees, with a moderate to fresh southwest wind, becoming northwesterly later.
"Tonight will be cold and clear with lowest temperatures of between minus 2 and plus 2 degrees. Winds will be light variable or westerly becoming fresh southeasterly later. A frost will set in early with fog developing by dawn.

"Tomorrow, Christmas day, will start cold and frosty with clear skies. It'll be a mainly dry day with sunshine becoming hazy and then giving way to cloud. Highest temperatures will be between 7 and 9 degrees in a freshening southeast wind."
Stephen's Day revellers may want to bring the rain jackets when they're heading out as it's been warned that there could be some outbreaks throughout the day.
"Temperatures on Thursday, St Stephens Day will be between 8 degrees in the north and 12 degrees in the south.
"Moderate to fresh southwest to south winds will bring showery outbreaks of rain in places through the day."
