Christmas is now just days away and the supermarkets will be changing their opening times over the festive season.
In the run up to the big day, some are opening for a little longer to give people more time to stock up on all those Christmas essentials.
But come Christmas Eve, there will be a little less time to shop as supermarkets close early to allow staff to spend time with their loved ones. A number of big stores will also remain closed on Boxing Day, including M&S and Aldi.

Over New Year you will find some changes to supermarket opening times too.
You don't want to get caught out if you realise you've forgotten the stuffing, or desperately need another box of Quality Street, so we've rounded up all the supermarket opening times over the Christmas and New Year break. These timings are for the large superstores. Smaller convenience stores may have longer opening times and you can use the store locators we've included to find your nearest.

Aldi
Aldi stores across England will all operate the same opening and closing times over the Christmas period. These are:
Wednesday, December 22 - Thursday, December 23: 7am to 10pm
