All the extra gifts, toys, and food at Christmas time often leads to big increase in waste around the home.
It’s a really busy time for local recycling centres, however most of the dumps around Co Fermanagh have different opening hours around this time of year.
Here’s a round up of all the Christmas opening hours for recycling centres around Co Fermanagh.
Enniskillen
Drumee Recycling Centre in Enniskillen will be open from 9am to 1.30pm on Christmas Eve. It will close on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
From Monday, December 27 to Friday, December 31 it will be open from 9am to 5pm. It will be closed on New Year's Day, and open from 9am to 5pm on January 3.
Irvinestown, Lisnaskea, Tempo and Kinawley centres
These centres will be open from 10am to 2pm on Christmas Eve. They will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
From Monday, December 27 to Friday, December 31 they will be open during normal hours (10am to 6pm and closed on Tuesday). They will be closed on New Year's Day and open on January 3 (10am to 6pm).
Kesh, Lisbellaw, Newtownbutler and Roslea centres
Kesh, Lisbellaw, Newtownbutler, Roslea HRCs will be open from 10am to 2pm on Christmas Eve. They will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
From Monday, December 27 to Friday, December 31 they will be open during normal hours (10am to 6pm and closed on Thursday). They will be closed on New Year's Day and open on January 3 (10am to 6pm).
Belleek
Belleek Recycling Centre will be open from 10am to 2pm on Christmas Eve. It will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. It will be open 10am to 6pm on Monday, December 27, Wednesday 29 and Friday 31 and January 1. It will be open on Monday, January 4 from 10am to 6pm.
Garrison
Garrison Recycling Centre will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. It will be open on Monday, December 28 and Thursday, December 30. It will be closed on December 27, 29 and 31, and January 1 and 4.
