Christmas pop-up offering unlimited free cocktails

A new pop-up is offering Londoners the chance to let their hair down in the capital before heading home to see their families this Christmas.

Be At One are welcoming guests to enjoy free unlimited cocktails at their Auntie Susan event on November 29 and 30, celebrating the good — and bad — things that come with heading home for the holidays.

The pop-up will be serving Christmas cocktails in Covent Garden, alongside a mulled wine station on site. The event will also include a crafts workshop, a selection of Christmas snacks and a live DJ.

The figure of Auntie Susan — that one relative who never stops asking awkward questions over Christmas — will be familiar to many, and the pop-up is a chance for guests to vent their frustrations with family.

Visitors can leave messages about their annoying aunt on a huge post-it wall, with the funniest entry receiving a free bottle of bubbly.

The event takes place at 68A Neal Street, a short walk from Covent Garden tube station.

Tickets are free, and ensure entry for an hour and a half. They can be booked here.

There’s also a charitable element to the two nights — guests are presented with a card which can be used every time they visit a Be At One bar on subsequent occasions. Every time users order a drink a £1 donation will be made to charity.
