Dogs and their owners are invited to celebrate Christmas together at the Pooches' Picnic at Exhibition Park in Canberra on Saturday from 10am to 3pm.
There will be live music, doggie markets, a best-dressed competition for dogs and owners at 11.30am with the theme of an Aussie bush Christmas, the Paws Cafe serving puppicinos, tunnels and ball play area, a barbecue and multiple festive photo installations.
There will also be an RSPCA ACT Xmas Giving Tree where people can donate gifts that will be given to animals staying at the RSPCA ACT shelter on Christmas day. The event is run by A Pooch Affair.
Tickets are $15 and available via trybooking. Children under 10 have free entry.
