The festive season is now fast approaching, with less than three months to go until Santa hops on his sleigh, and if you're short on Christmas plans, how about a party on water?
While you might not be able to join Santa on his sleigh you can celebrate the season of good will and most definitely eat, drink and be merry on one of the Christmas Party Night cruises that are setting sail on the River Tyne in Newcastle in December.
River Escapes Newcastle Gateshead have already taken plenty of bookings for their Santa Cruises for families but there is also fun to be had when the sun goes down too!
The Christmas party cruises will depart from the Quayside on December 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21, with the Saturday nights on December 7 and 14 already sold out.
The cost for the Friday night parties is £18 per person, which includes a 3 hour cruise, disco and welcome drink. The price is slightly more for Saturdays at £30 but you do get food as well.
And the options sound delicious with the buffet menu including: marinated roasted pig, turkey crown marinated with orange, honey & thyme, pigs in blankets, Yorkshires, home-made stuffing with sausage meat & chestnuts, garlic & rosemary roasted new potatoes, roasted seasonal vegetables and Vegan Garlic Mushroom Wellington.
